PRAYER OF INTEGRATION
I woke up the other morning and before my feet hit the floor, my heart went in a dozen different directions as my mind filed through the list of things that I had to do that day. Our True Pursuit Weekend was just a few days away and there is always a bunch of things that need to be done, not to mention the Credit Card bill that was a few days past due, and the email I still needed to send to the team, etc., etc.
I have to admit, that happens to me a lot. I think that those first few minutes of the day, before I get my old body up and moving, are the minutes when my heart is the most vulnerable.
If I am not intentional my heart can be split in many pieces, before I ever get out of bed.

For many years I wasn’t even aware that it was happening, and I would hit the floor running…racing into my to-do-list. Maybe you can relate to that feeling of anxiousness that you wake up with.
How much better would it be if when we feel our hearts being pulled, we would hit the pause button, and invite Jesus to pull all of those pieces of our heart back under His wholeness? To enter into our day wholehearted? I don’t do that every day, but I will say that when I do, I am able to walk into my day with a healthier frame of mind.
Jesus desires you and I to live wholehearted, and He promises to bring His wholeness over our lives. The Prayer of Integration is a great way to start your day.
