What is the True Pursuit Weekend?

The True Pursuit Weekend is a four day adventure designed to help a man recover his masculine heart.  Through teaching sessions, film clips, personal stories, times for reflection and journaling, adventure activities and more, men will be offered an opportunity to reconnect with God in a powerful and fresh way.

Why the True Pursuit Weekend?

When most men boil their lives down it looks something like… get a good education, a good job, a good marriage, a good family, a good church and then try really hard not to blow it. Most of us have at one time or another heard that voice deep within us whispering that there is something more, much more. But how do we find it? It is our desire that this weekend will help men be rescued from the things that keep them in bondage to shame, guilt and isolation and invite them into a life of freedom in God.

Who Should Come?

The True Pursuit Weekend is open to all men 18 and older. The weekend is tailored for men who are willing to slow down, and unplug from their everyday life.  This is not a “father/son weekend. Although men have attended with their sons in the past, we recommend that both read Wild at Heart and discuss it before attending.

Bring A Friend

We highly suggest that you think of a few other men that you think may benefit from this weekend and invite them.  We believe it is essential to have a group of men in your local area to do life with and this weekend is a great place to start or take it to the next level.  *For the first time we are implementing an incentive in which you bring five first-time attendees and you get a 50% discount on your registration.  (They must mention you in the notes section of registration)

What Should I Bring?

The camp provides pillows, linens and towels.  True Pursuit provides earplugs and journals.  You bring whatever else you want.  We suggest that you bring whatever it is that helps you connect with God such as a Bible and your personal journal, etc.  The weather can be pretty unpredictable in southern Michigan in early May, so bring weather appropriate casual clothing (average highs in the high 60’s F, lows in the mid 40’s).

The event is held at the Michindoh Conference Center near Hillsdale, Michigan.  Find more about the camp at
