True Pursuit exists to invite men to have an active relationship with God and walk in freedom.
True Pursuit’s mission is Hearts Rescued and Freedom Gained.
Follow the Wild Goose
Early Celtic Christians called the Holy Spirit the wild goose; knowing that the Spirit can’t be tracked or tamed. Our pursuit is to learn how to let the Spirit lead us and then follow.
Stay Small and Fluid
Rather than focusing on numbers, our desire is to be faithful. Therefore, organizationally we want to stay small and fluid, dream big, and leave the results to the Trinity.
Be Intentional About Asking and Listening
We know that our tendency is to figure things out on our own. This value calls us to a Kingdom perspective; to learn how to be more intentional in the way we live.
Seek Irreversible Change in Men
We don’t want to give men more information. After all, Kingdom living is transformational. Our pursuit is to provide space, conversation, and encouragement that leads to transformation from the inside-out.
Only Offer What We Have Personally Lived
Men want to know if what we offer “really works” in our lives. Our commitment is to only offer what we are learning, wrestling with, and seeking to live.
Live in Solitude and Community
We know what’s it’s like to live in isolation and shallow conversations. Our commitment is to seek intimacy with the Trinity, and out of that intimacy live in community that is rich, real, and authentic. For out of solitude to community flows a mission through which we serve the world.
Everything begins with the heart. Who we are deep inside; that person that God meant when He meant you. Fighting for our hearts and for the hearts of others in this incredible life that God has called us up into. Whether we spend time with individual men or share a weekend together, we know that our time with them could mean the difference between freedom and bondage.
